Ms Nonhlanhla Maubane

Clinical Psychologist

I am an experienced therapists who works with families in crisis, a trained family and divorce mediator .

About Me

When family life feels overwhelming or separation looms, finding a clear path can be hard. I guide families through these challenging times, offering a calm, neutral space for difficult conversations. As a trained mediator, I help you foster respectful dialogue, transforming crisis into understanding. My aim is to support your family in finding practical solutions and stable footing for the future.

Approach

When choices must be made quickly, I meet families with clear, stepwise work—short goals, practical tools and mediated exchanges that reduce immediate harm while opening space for repair. From my Pretoria practice I offer sessions in English and isiZulu (and other local languages), pacing appointments to suit adolescents, parents and couples. Sessions blend safety planning, boundary-setting and coached communication; between meetings I suggest manageable tasks and check‑ins so changes can be practiced at home. People navigating separation, abuse or addictive patterns often find this grounded, collaborative rhythm helps them move toward steadier decisions.
