About Me

I am a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and registered Clinical Psychologist in Sea Point, Western Cape, South Africa. I work with people coping with abuse-related trauma and with autistic adolescents and adults. I offer intellectual psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to clarify strengths and needs.

Approach

Faith informs a steady, attentive pace: I hold sessions that are warm, deliberate and patient-centred, attuned to language and cultural nuances across Afrikaans, English, Sesotho, isiXhosa and isiZulu. In Cape Town I combine reflective dialogue with structured observations and targeted tasks, allowing assessments to shape gentle interventions for young people and children with autism. Between meetings I set clear, manageable steps and feedback loops so parents and adolescents notice small shifts. This approach often suits families seeking thoughtful, long-term understanding and practical change.
