Dr Nina Savelle-Rocklin

Psychoanalyst

Psychoanalyst, author & talk show host specializing in food, weight and body image issues. I help people make peace with food for good.

About Me

I understand how deeply food, weight, and body image can affect your life. If you are tired of the constant struggle, I offer a compassionate space to explore its roots. We work together to unravel complex patterns, helping you truly make peace with food for good. My approach fosters lasting change, moving beyond temporary fixes. This journey offers a deeper sense of freedom and acceptance.

Approach

We begin by turning attention in session to the everyday moments—mealtime, urges, critical self-talk—and trace how those patterns show up in feelings, relationships, and choices. In sessions we name difficult feelings, follow recurring thoughts, and link present habits to earlier experiences; between sessions I encourage simple experiments and close attention to day-to-day responses so new options can be tried and observed. Change usually unfolds as clearer awareness, fewer automatic reactions, and steadier choices around food and the body. This way of working often suits adults ready to slow down and learn how patterns operate.
