Dr Nikolaos Tzikas

Child Psychotherapist

I offer confidential assessment and brief- and long-term psychotherapy, and I work with under5s, young children and their families, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 25.

About Me

I offer a confidential space where children, young people, and their families can explore challenges. My assessments help us understand what's needed, whether for brief support or deeper, long-term work. I guide under 5s through to young adults (up to 25) as they navigate their feelings. This tailored approach ensures therapy fits your unique journey.

Approach

I build on assessment work across early years to young adulthood, clarifying what feels most pressing and shaping a pace that fits attention and development. In London I offer face-to-face and online sessions in English and Greek, and I keep contact between sessions with parents or carers when useful. Sessions combine play and conversation with close listening to behaviour and relationships, using gentle interpretation and practical experiments to test new ways of being together. Families and young people who need careful attunement and time to understand patterns often find this way of working helpful.
