Nicky Cameron

Licensed Clinical Social Workers

I provide non-judgemental, quality, client-centered care to tweens, teens and young adults who struggle with anxiety and depression.

About Us

I support tweens, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety and depression. My client-centred approach ensures sessions unfold at your own pace, tailored to your unique needs. I offer a non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. This helps you explore difficult feelings and develop practical tools. We can work together to build confidence and a stronger sense of self.

Approach

When we meet, you set the tempo and we shape each session around what feels manageable that day, balancing safety with gentle challenge. In our Oakland Park office, in English, sessions are predictable and paced to reduce overwhelm while leaving space for curiosity. We draw on brief assessments, focused skill-practice and occasional family check-ins so choices between sessions feel doable and supported. This practical, steady rhythm tends to help young people and their families build clearer routines and more reliable ways to cope.
