Psychological Psychotherapist

Life is full of challenges. Sometimes we feel stuck or overwhelmed, and as though we have lost touch with ourselves. However, every difficult situation also offers opportunities for growth and change. As a psychotherapist, I will accompany you on your journey towards finding solutions in a safe space. Together, we will explore the connections between your current challenges, your relationships, and your social environment. After all, in the context of our lives, our symptoms make perfect sense. We examine repetitive patterns and dynamics, developing new perspectives that facilitate change. My work aims to help you feel more capable and alive again, and to enable you to shape your life in harmony with your needs and values. Life is full of challenges. Sometimes we feel stuck or overwhelmed, and as though we have lost touch with ourselves. However, every difficult situation also offers opportunities for growth and change.

About Me

I offer a supportive space seeking greater serenity, self-confidence, and a deeper connection with themselves. My focus is on those who feel different or are searching for their place in the world. We can gently explore your unique experiences. This is especially relevant if you identify as LGBTQ+. I also support those navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, or identity questions. Together, we’ll develop practical ways to help you find your footing and feel more at home within yourself.

Approach

In my practice, I take an integrative approach to treatment, combining various therapeutic methods. I consider it particularly important to take an appreciative and resource-oriented view of your individual experiences. Initially, we typically utilise cognitive behavioural therapy methods to comprehend current challenges and develop specific steps for change. Depending on the issue, I also use systemic approaches that consider relationship patterns and the social environment. Body-oriented techniques can also help us to better understand and manage your experiences on a physical level. This creates a holistic therapeutic process that facilitates new experiences and helps you internalise new perspectives and changes in the long term.
