Ms Misha Henning

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

An Experienced and competent psychotherapist working with adult and seniors.

About Me

I support adults and seniors navigating life's unique challenges and transitions. In our sessions, I offer a grounded space to gently explore personal histories and current relationship dynamics. We'll work collaboratively to make sense of your experiences, fostering deeper understanding and resilience. My aim is for you to feel heard and empowered, finding clarity and peace as you move forward.

Approach

Work begins with noticing patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships, then tracking how they affect daily life. I guide clients through brief experiments and skills training—including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy techniques and stress-management practices—to examine triggers, practice new responses, and build relational skills. Sessions move at a steady, practical pace, integrating coaching and relationship counseling approaches where helpful. Available in English and Farsi in Laguna Woods, California, this process suits adults and elderly people ready to examine patterns and practice change.
