Ms Melinda Watson

Social Worker (Mental Health)

Are you or your child struggling to navigate life's challenges? As a certified social worker specializing in mindfulness-based therapy, I am dedicated to helping children, teens, and young adults cultivate a deep sense of resilience and strength.

About Me

I offer a supportive space for young people to navigate their world with greater ease. Through practical mindfulness exercises, we can explore difficult emotions and build coping skills together. My work guides children, teens, and young adults to find inner calm and lasting resilience. This approach helps those feeling overwhelmed to build inner strength for life's many challenges.

Approach

When worries feel big, I help families and young people break things down into small, doable steps that fit real life and school days. In my Clearfield office and through secure online sessions, we move at a calm pace, using brief mindfulness tools, age‑appropriate activities, and gentle check‑ins so kids can notice what’s happening inside them. Between visits I offer simple practices to try at home and share observations that guide our next steps. This way of working often suits those seeking steady, practical progress.
