Prof Martina Ceccarini

CBT Psychotherapist

Adjunct Psychology Faculty Professore (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan), Chartered Clinical Psychologist, CBT Psychotherapist and EMDR Expert Therapist specialised in trauma, depression, anxiety, esting disorders, addiction and stress.

About Me

I guide individuals through the complexities of trauma, anxiety, and depression, helping them find stability. When life feels overwhelming due to these difficult experiences, finding a path forward can be challenging. I offer a grounded, evidence-based approach to help you process them and build resilience. Using techniques like EMDR, we can gently explore difficult memories, transforming their impact. My aim is for you to develop practical tools for lasting emotional well-being.

Approach

When memories or unhelpful patterns interrupt daily life, I create predictable, paced sessions that balance safety with gradual change. In Milan and online I work in English, Italian or Spanish, shaping each meeting so insights translate into manageable steps between sessions. Therapy blends focused cognitive work with guided bilateral stimulation and brief, measurable homework while we monitor distress and adjust pace together. This steady, structured way of working often helps people facing trauma, anxiety, addiction or burnout move toward more tolerable, functional days.
