Marissa Brun, MSc

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Nature based healing and trauma informed care to support, celebrate, and reconnect women to a life of confidence and wholeness.

About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Boulder, Colorado. I treat abuse, life transitions, relationship issues, and low self-esteem. I provide trauma counseling, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, and individual therapy.

Approach

I believe that healing is a holistic practice involving all aspects of our experience. Through my work in nature and in the office, I work with clients to focus not only on the immediate challenges that bring them to therapy, but also place emphasis on the how the body stores our pain, previous experiences that make us who we are, and explore the emotions impacted.

I always make space to explore client's thoughts, relationships, aspirations, spirituality, and a connection to the world around you. As an avid hiker/backpacker, I value the healing power of nature and believe a strong connection with the earth can accelerate our healing.

I believe everyone has the tools within them to heal, grow, and connect to our gifts. It is my goal to empower you in reaching the tools that will enhance the joy and connection in your life.

You can heal from your past, and I would be honoured to assist you along your journey to wholeness.
