About Me

I never take for granted the courage it can take to walk through a therapist’s door for the first time. For me, it is a real privilege to meet someone at that point, perhaps curious about therapy, perhaps uncertain, but ready to take that first step. Over the years, I have seen many students come through my door and, sometimes many years later, return in a completely different phase of their lives. I feel particularly mindful of the unique place students occupy in the world: they may be far from family and familiar support systems, while simultaneously navigating an important and formative period of their lives. I have been privileged to walk alongside many of them as they find their way. My work with adults encompasses a wide range of experiences, including career questions, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and any other circumstances in which a person may feel that some support would be helpful. Approach

Much of my work is informed by what I have gathered through many years of experience, study and, above all, listening to the people I have had the privilege to work with. I consider myself a lifelong scholar, always asking questions, remaining open to new ways of understanding, and trying to approach the work with humility. Above all, I love what I do, and feel deeply grateful to be able to accompany people for a part of their journey.
