Mackenzie Fournier

Registered Psychotherapist

I specialize in anxiety, eating disorders, body image, stress, self-confidence, emotion regulation, relationship issues & more. Therapy with me isn’t just about “validating” your feelings. It’s about real transformation. Together, we'll explore the root causes of your struggles & develop effective tools to manage them.

About Me

I offer a space for profound change, moving beyond surface-level discussions to real transformation. We’ll collaboratively explore the root causes of your difficulties and develop effective tools to manage them. This approach suits those ready to actively unravel what holds them back and build lasting self-confidence. You’ll gain practical strategies to navigate life’s complexities with greater ease.

Approach

Instead of staying at the surface, sessions move into practical experiments designed around what actually happens in your day-to-day. I work with clients in Ottawa and online in English, using brief in-session practices, values-focused planning and stepwise behavioural experiments that target anxiety, eating and body-image patterns. Between appointments we test small, manageable shifts and notice what changes, then fine-tune strategies together. This way of working tends to suit adolescents and adults who want hands-on, steady progress rather than quick fixes.
