Lucianne

Ms Lucianne Grixti

Psychologist

I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking a deeper understanding of their internal emotional world. My approach is grounded in the belief that emotional difficulties often stem from complex, unconscious experiences that can be explored and worked through in the context of a safe and consistent therapeutic relationship. I work with people who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves, and who are looking for more than a quick fixes - those who want to understand the roots of their struggles and make lasting change. The people that I work with tend to be thoughtful, sensitive, and curious about themselves and their relationships. Psychotherapy or psychoanalysis provides a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of what has felt confusing or painful for some time.

About Me

I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis tailored to individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate space where people can explore their emotional challenges, unconscious patterns, and relationship dynamics in depth. I also work closely with parents to support their understanding of their child’s inner world and behaviour, helping to strengthen family relationships. Through a long-term, trusting therapeutic relationship, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful personal growth.

Approach

My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic principles, recognising that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are often shaped by unconscious processes and early experiences. I offer a consistent, reflective space where deeper patterns can be explored within the safety of a therapeutic relationship. Rather than focusing on short-term solutions, I support clients in developing a richer understanding of their inner world. Psychotherapy or psychoanalysis begins with an initial assessment to think together about your needs and whether this approach feels right for you.
