Kristy Peters

Licensed Professional Counselor

Kristy Peters, LCPC, LCADC, I have much experience working with adolescents and adults. I have a mindful and trauma-informed approach.

About Me

I have much experience working with adolescents and adults. My mindful and trauma-informed approach offers a gentle space to explore life’s challenges. We can build inner calm together, allowing you to understand past experiences without judgment. This means you’ll find practical ways to navigate difficult feelings and feel more grounded. This supportive, safe environment is for you if you seek lasting change and a path towards healing.

Approach

Mindful, trauma-aware work shapes a steady, collaborative rhythm where we gently track what’s happening for you and try small, doable shifts. I meet with adolescents and adults in Las Vegas and online, in English, so we can keep momentum between sessions when it's helpful. Sessions use short practical exercises, exploration of past influences, and real-life experiments to practice new responses to cravings, anxiety, anger, or relationship strain. This way of working tends to suit people seeking calm, practical change and more stability.
