Ms Kimberly Pereira

Psychotherapist (Registered)

Self doubt, imposter sensations, perfectionism, controlling, frustrated, anxious, not good enough, trouble controlling angry feelings, overwhelm. As a woman in the helping professions, you know all the right things to do, but why is it so hard to do them? Let's connect to get you back on track.

About Me

When self-doubt, imposter feelings, or perfectionism leave you overwhelmed, even knowing what to do can feel tough. I understand the unique pressures women in helping professions face. We can explore what gets in the way, helping you translate your insights into practical, actionable steps. My aim is to support you in finding clarity and regaining control, transforming frustration into confidence. Let's work together to build resilience for your demanding role.

Approach

When insight doesn't translate into action, I focus on breaking things down into tiny, doable experiments so change feels possible and less exhausting. From my office in Port Stanley and through secure online sessions in English, we move at a steady, collaborative pace—brief check-ins, focused skill practice, body-aware noticing and short between-session tasks you can actually fit into a shift. Sessions are practical and reflective, slowing down overwhelm so you can name patterns and try new responses. This style tends to suit women who carry care responsibilities in their work.
