Mrs Kerry Roberts, MA

Clinical Psychologist

Verified

As a psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapist, I work with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of psychological challenges. The aim of therapy is to create lasting change by exploring the underlying patterns and experiences that contribute to emotional and psychological difficulties.

About Me

I am based at Village Health Medical Centre, a multi-disciplinary centre in Umhlali. There are two clinical psychologists in our team. Whilst I see adults and adolescents, my colleague sees adults, adolescents and children.

Approach

I work from a psychoanalytic approach and work with people over a medium to long term. I also practice EMI (Eye Movement Integration Therapy) for specific traumatic events when this is deemed to be most useful.
