Mrs Kerry Roberts

Clinical Psychologist

A psychoanalytically orientated psychotherapist seeing individual adults and adolescents. The aim of therapy is long term change from existing psychological challenges.

About Me

This psychoanalytically orientated psychotherapy supports individual adults and adolescents facing complex psychological challenges. It helps clients explore underlying patterns and past experiences that contribute to their difficulties. Through this deep work, individuals gain insight. This enables long-term change, moving beyond immediate symptoms. Clients ready to make sense of recurring issues will find a dedicated space for lasting personal growth.

Approach

I offer a sustained, exploratory process that helps you trace how current difficulties are shaped by earlier patterns and relationships. Sessions are held in English from my Umhlali practice or online, paced to your needs with room for silence, reflection and occasional focused tasks between meetings. We attend to emotional experience, recurring responses and the small signals—dreams, slips, bodily symptoms—that point to deeper organising forces, working steadily to loosen what feels stuck. This way of working suits people ready for thoughtful, lasting change.
