Kelly Lewallen

Family Therapist

I specialize in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, addictions and eating disorders (individually and in groups). Excited to work with you.

About Me

As a Family Therapist, I help individuals and groups navigate the complexities of trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders. I also specialise in supporting those facing challenges with addictions and eating disorders. You can choose between one-to-one sessions or the shared understanding of group settings. I aim to create a space where you can explore difficulties, build resilience, and find a way forward.

Approach

When we meet, the focus is on small, practical shifts that respect your history and move at a pace that feels safe. In my Palm Desert office, sessions are held in English and feel collaborative and steady—short mindfulness practices, relational reflection, and clear, doable steps to try between meetings. I listen for patterns that keep you stuck and help you experiment with new responses alongside your support system when that’s useful. This way of working often suits people who want gentle, consistent progress and real-life change.
