Dr Katrina Lake

Clinical Psychologist

Katrina has over 20 years of experience working with people in the NHS and in private practice.

About Me

I offer a supportive space to navigate life's complexities. With over two decades as a Clinical Psychologist in NHS and private practice, I draw on broad experience. I help adults explore challenges like anxiety or difficult life transitions. We can work together to understand patterns and find practical strategies for positive change. My aim is to provide a calm, collaborative environment where you feel truly heard.

Approach

Having worked across the NHS and private practice for over twenty years, my sessions focus on practical steps paired with careful reflection so you can make sense of repeating patterns. I see people in Sheffield and online, working in English, and I pace each session to what feels manageable — short grounding or breathing, space to revisit difficult memories, and agreed steps to try between meetings. This feels helpful for adults facing anxiety, mood shifts, OCD or aftermaths of trauma who want steady, collaborative progress.
