Miss Maria Kassar

CBT Psychotherapist

verified by TherapyRoute

As a licensed therapist specializing in evidence-based CBT, I provide a collaborative approach to help you gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll work on strategies to manage them effectively. My aim is to equip you with the tools and insights to become your own therapist

About Me

I offer a supportive space where we can explore your inner world through evidence-based CBT. My aim is to help you develop practical strategies for managing difficult thoughts and feelings. This collaborative approach is ideal for those ready to actively strengthen their own ability to navigate life's challenges. Together, we build skills for lasting change.

Approach

Sessions focus on turning what you notice about yourself into manageable steps you can try between meetings, paced to suit children, adolescents or adults. In Beirut and across sessions in Arabic, English or French — including online — I keep sessions structured but flexible: we set small, measurable goals, use brief skill practices in-session, and I often suggest simple between-session experiments or tracking to see what shifts. This way of working suits people who want clear, practical progress they can carry into daily life.
