Ms Justine Bugeja
Family Therapist
“With more than 11 years of experience teaching primary school, including three years as a guidance teacher, and having studied systemic family therapy, I am devoted to supporting students' growth and helping families navigate difficulties to promote well-being and strong relationships. Also worked with individuals.”
About Me
My years in primary education, especially as a guidance teacher, deeply inform my work. I am devoted to supporting students' growth and helping families navigate challenges. My study of systemic family therapy allows me to explore how family patterns influence individual well-being. I help families foster stronger relationships and promote overall well-being for everyone. I also work with individuals seeking clarity and support.
Approach
Years with young learners taught me to blend curiosity with clear structure, so sessions move at a steady, practical pace that feels safe and purposeful. In my Iklin consulting room or online, in English or Maltese, I invite families and individuals to map patterns, try small, concrete experiments between meetings, and use brief psychoeducation to make sense of difficult moments. I work alongside parents and adolescents to advocate for children's needs when needed and to build clearer routines and communication. This approach suits those wanting hands-on, collaborative change.
