Basic Information
Services
Youth Counselling/MBT-A
These approaches seek to help the client identify issues they are struggling with and, using specific strategies and techniques, find more effective ways of viewing or coping with them.
This approach is effective with older children and young people.
Issues I have worked effectively with include:, ADHD, Looked After Children, Adopted Children, Bereavement, Family Breakup, Safeguarding Issues, Abuse, Behavioural Issues, Anxieties, Depression, Self Harm, Self Esteem and Relationships Problems.
Family Counselling
I provide a safe space to explore the dynamics of the family unit and any issues which may be impacting all or some of the relationships within the family. I encourage each member of the family to understand their needs and empathise with each other.
This helps the whole family to gain a deeper understanding of each other’s needs and aims to build on family strengths and make positive changes within the family unit.
