Ms Jill McAlister, BPsych

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

I provide a safe, nurturing and confidential environment for you to explore your emotions, challenges and goals. I can help you to develop a deeper understanding of your feelings, underlying beliefs and behaviour patterns that are blocking you from thriving. I draw on a range of transformational therapeutic approaches to help you to let go of and heal difficult emotions, change limiting patterns and experience lasting change. I also help you to explore your natural strengths and potential and to experience a greater degree of fulfillment and Soul purpose in your life. I offer Health Fund rebates and Medicare rebates with a GP referral.

About Me

I have worked as a Psychologist for over 25 years in private practice, helping women to heal and transform their lives. I adopt a holistic approach focused on supporting you to heal, deepen your self-awareness, grow and make positive changes, so that you can thrive.

Approach

I adopt a holistic approach to supporting you. In our counselling session, we first do a holistic exploration of the challenges, discuss your goals and vision and then develop a personal plan adapted to your needs. As part of the process, we utilise a range of transformational techniques. I have many years of training and experience as a Clinical Psychologist, with extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based approaches, therapies for trauma resolution and emotional regulation, such as EMDR and EFT, Attachment-based Therapies, as well as in a range of transpersonal, spiritual, and energy psychology/healing approaches.
