verified by TherapyRoute

I am a Psychologist and Family Practitioner with a special interest in psychotherapy and holistic client support across the lifespan. My areas of focus include neurodevelopmental and emotional functioning, particularly in the assessment and support of conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), depression, and anxiety. I also offer comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify barriers to learning and to support appropriate assessment accommodations. In addition, I provide subject choice and career guidance to assist learners in making informed and meaningful academic and career decisions. My work extends to family law matters, where I offer professional input in areas relating to child development, family dynamics, and the best interests of the child.

About Me

I am a licensed psychologist and registered counsellor based in Paarl and Worcester in the Western Cape, South Africa. I work with individuals, families, and children, offering psychotherapy, assessment, and support across a range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. My areas of focus include neurodevelopmental disorders and career guidance, as well as psycho-legal and child protection evaluations, mediation, and online therapy. I place a strong emphasis on providing clear, practical guidance. My reports are structured and accessible for courts, schools, and agencies, while my therapeutic work focuses on equipping clients with realistic tools to manage symptoms and work towards meaningful personal goals. I have a special interest in helping people live to their full potential. I believe that each person is unique, with their own story, strengths, and challenges. In my work, I aim to meet clients where they are, offering a space where they feel heard and understood, while also encouraging accountability, growth, and forward movement. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy playing guitar, spending time in nature, and being with my family, which helps me stay grounded and balanced in my work.

Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and integrative. I draw from evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique needs, combining insight-oriented work with practical tools for everyday life. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, make sense of their experiences, and move toward meaningful change. I value authenticity, compassion, and empowering each individual to become an active participant in their healing journey.
