About Me
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in Oakland, California. I work with people facing anxiety, mood disorders, relationship problems, and LGBTQI+ concerns. I provide somatic psychotherapy, relationship counseling, online sessions, and group therapy.
Approach
Softening self-criticism and building self-compassion unfolds through steady, practical work—noticing body cues, naming old conversational loops, and trying small relational experiments in session. In my Oakland office or through secure online sessions in English, Farsi, or Hebrew, I move at a pace you control, mixing somatic grounding, mindful practice, and feedback that targets how you show up with others. Between meetings you’ll have simple practices to test new responses and gather real-world data. People juggling anxiety, relationships, or identity often find this approach steadying.
