About Me
Approach
Jean follows a holistic (systemic) and pragmatic approach to therapy with a special interest in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB). IPNB, also termed relational neuroscience, is rooted in attachment theory and sees human development, functioning and wellbeing as a product of the interaction between genes and the individual’s relational environment. This means that quality connections and relationships are deemed important for emotional and psychological wellbeing.
Jean believes in second chances, that making bad decisions does not make one a bad person and that happiness is a state of being that has to be pursued afresh each day.
