Jasmine Tsang

Registered Psychotherapist

I’m Jasmine Tsang, a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Reflections Therapy. I work with adults and couples who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, or disconnected from themselves or their relationships. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted from managing anxiety, the effects of past trauma, unstable emotions, or long-standing struggles with self-worth. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel deeply understood — not judged or “fixed.” My role is to walk alongside you as we gently make sense of what’s happening internally, so you can move forward with clarity, balance, and self-acceptance.

About Me

I believe therapy thrives on a deep, meaningful connection. My aim is to create a space where you feel truly seen. Here, you can explore and embrace your authentic self. We'll work together, using intentional questioning and evidence-based practices, to uncover effective ways forward. This collaborative approach ensures sessions are tailored to your unique needs. It helps you navigate challenges and build confidence in who you are.

Approach

My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and depth-oriented. I use intentional, carefully chosen questions to help clients slow down and better understand their inner world — their emotions, thoughts, reactions, and patterns. Rather than jumping straight into solutions, we first build insight. From there, we identify what truly needs to shift in order to create a more peaceful and fulfilling life. I primarily work from a parts-based perspective, which means we look at the different “parts” of you — for example, the anxious part, the self-critical part, the people-pleasing part, or the part that shuts down. These parts developed for a reason, often to protect you during difficult experiences. Together, we organize and understand these parts so they can work together rather than against each other. I integrate: - Internal Family Systems (IFS) in simple terms: helping you understand and relate to the different parts of yourself with curiosity instead of judgment. - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in everyday language: learning how to make room for difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them control your life, while moving toward what truly matters to you. This process allows clients to feel more grounded, less reactive, and more aligned with their authentic selves.

Services

I provide individual and couples therapy for adults who are struggling with anxiety, the effects of past trauma, emotional instability, low self-esteem, and difficulties in relationships. In individual therapy, we focus on understanding the emotional patterns, internal conflicts, and protective responses that may be keeping you stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. Many clients experience intense emotions, fear of abandonment, or rapid shifts in mood, and therapy offers a space to make sense of these experiences with compassion rather than judgment. In couples therapy, I help partners understand each other’s emotional worlds, improve communication, and break out of repetitive cycles that create distance or conflict. Whether working individually or as a couple, my focus is on helping clients develop greater emotional clarity, internal balance, and a stronger sense of self, so they can move through life and relationships with more confidence, peace, and authenticity.
