Being Trauma-Informed in 6 years of practice, I aim to work along the key ideologies of self-attunement, self-belief and compassion - helping people re-frame their relationship with self and others around them.

About Me

I am trained in Trauma-Informed and Somatic Experiencing Therapy, a body-based approach to healing. My work is guided by the belief that therapy begins by meeting you exactly where you are, without pressure or judgement. With gentle curiosity, we collaborate to notice your emotions, bodily sensations, thoughts, unmet needs, and patterns of behaviour, at your pace. I have always been curious about looking beyond mental chaos, and becoming aware of emotional experiences at the bodily level has been a game-changer. I integrate breathwork and mindful movements to increase the felt sense of these experiences. As therapy unfolds, we gently explore deeper layers of your inner world, much like peeling an onion, to build self-awareness and understanding. I see self-awareness as a powerful anchor in the healing process, helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and regain a sense of agency in your life. In this process, while I become a therapist for all your parts, you become the client who feels safe and expresses freely. Rooted in compassion and appropriate humour, my therapy space becomes the most comforting cushion you can lean on every week.

Approach

My approach to therapy is eclectic, introspective and holistic. It is majorly informed by the tools of CBT, DBT, IFS, Narrative therapy, and Somatic & Mindfulness-based approaches. I use polyvagal theory to help regulate nervous system responses to stress. Overall, my approaches move towards understanding individual trauma responses, childhood behavioral patterns and conditioning, and to help you re-frame relationship with yourself.
