Mrs Jane Wekesa

Counselor

I am a licensed counselling psychologist with a practising experience of 10 years. Passionate about family counselling.

About Me

I am passionate about supporting families as they navigate life's complexities. Drawing on my experience, I guide family members to understand each other better, fostering stronger connections. We can explore communication patterns and build practical strategies to resolve conflict within sessions. My aim is to create a space where every voice is genuinely heard, helping families find greater harmony and understanding together.

Approach

Building on that foundation, we begin by mapping each person’s perspective and agreeing on one or two achievable goals to guide our work. In Webuye or online, in English or Kiswahili, sessions feel structured yet conversational—paced to suit children, adolescents and adults and focused on clear, practical steps. I use gentle prompts, role-play and simple communication tools, then set small between-session experiments so families practise new ways of relating at home. This approach tends to suit caregivers and family members wanting steady, hands-on change.
