Ms Jana Ghanem, MA

Clinical Psychologist

“I help children, adolescents, and adults make sense of what feels stuck, overwhelming, or quietly out of reach. Together, we create space for honest reflection, meaningful change, and a deeper relationship with yourself.”

About Me

I'm a Clinical Psychologist based in Beirut, working with children, adolescents, and adults across humanitarian, clinical, and private practice settings. Over the past six years, I've sat with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity questions, and the many quieter struggles that shape daily life. Clients often describe my presence as warm, grounded, and thoughtful. I believe therapy should feel like a space you want to return to, one where you are met without judgment and taken seriously.

Approach

My approach is psychoanalytically oriented, informed by my ongoing training as a psychoanalyst at SPIAL. I work with the belief that lasting change happens when we understand not only what we feel, but why. With adults and adolescents, this means slowing down to explore patterns, early experiences, and the stories we carry about ourselves. With children, I use play therapy, meeting them in their natural language and allowing them to express what words can't yet reach.
