Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

If anxiety or past trauma are leaving you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or on edge, you don’t have to navigate it alone. As a licensed professional counselor providing telehealth across Virginia, I use DBT, CBT, and mindfulness- and nervous system-informed approaches to help you feel safer in your body and regain a sense of stability and control.

About Me

I bring both lived and professional experience to my work, allowing me to meet you with compassion and a nonjudgmental understanding of what you’re going through. I take a holistic approach that looks beyond symptoms to the full context of your life, offering a warm, grounded space where humor is welcome. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, panic, PTSD, and OCD, helping them feel more grounded, at ease, and in control.

Approach

I help you build a deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and nervous system responses so you can relate to them differently. Rather than starting only with thoughts, I use a bottom-up approach that focuses on helping your body feel safe and regulated first, which creates a foundation for lasting change. From there, you can respond with greater awareness and intention—feeling more grounded, at ease, and in control, even during stress.
