Miss Hiya Hinduja

Counseling Psychologist

I hold an empathetic, reflective and compassionate space in therapy where I view individuals through an intersectional lens and strive to create a warm and welcoming space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported as they work through their challenges. My practise is trauma and queer sensitive.

About Me

I offer a deeply empathetic and reflective space where you can feel truly heard and understood. My practice embraces an intersectional lens, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment for all. It is especially sensitive to trauma and queer experiences, helping clients navigate unique challenges with genuine support. Together, we can explore your experiences and find ways forward, fostering resilience and personal growth.

Approach

Gentle curiosity shapes how we explore your concerns, pacing sessions to what feels manageable and respectful of your rhythms. Based in Mumbai, I offer therapy in English and Hindi/Urdu, meeting both in-person and online so practicalities don’t get in the way of the work. Sessions mix focused reflection, collaborative problem-solving and short, practical experiments you can try between meetings—often using imagery or brief behavioural steps to reduce overwhelm. People facing transitions, anxiety or relationship strain tend to find this steady, paced way helpful.
