Mr Grant Wattie

Registered Counselor

I help business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives transform their relationships, in weeks, not years.

About Me

I am a certified professional counselor, relationship transformation specialist, and author based in Havelock North, New Zealand. With more than twenty years of experience and over 5,000 couples supported across New Zealand and internationally, I work with high-achieving couples seeking meaningful and lasting change. Together with my wife, Christine, I co-created the Aroha Rapid Transformation Method. Developed through our own experiences and refined through thousands of hours of clinical practice, this approach focuses on addressing the root causes of relationship patterns rather than simply managing surface-level behaviors. I am also the co-author of *Love Without Limits* and the creator of *The Phoenix Protocol*, a crisis intervention program designed for couples facing significant relationship challenges. I offer in-person sessions in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay, and work online with professionals and executives throughout New Zealand and around the world.

Approach

Most relationship help focuses on what you're doing, communication techniques, conflict tools, and better scripts. Those things have their place. The real shift happens at a deeper level: who you are in the relationship, not just what you're doing. When that changes, the patterns that have been running for years stop running. That's the work.
