Gisele Harrison

Registered Social Worker

I am an EMDR therapist, Consultant and Trainer. I specialize in PTSD, C-PTSD, Dissociative conditions, developmental trauma. I use a feminist, anti-oppressive approach as well as parts work, somatic psych, expressive arts and mindulfness.

About Me

When complex trauma or dissociative experiences make daily life feel overwhelming, finding a path forward can seem impossible. I guide individuals to gently process past experiences, untangling the lasting impact of developmental or complex trauma. We can gently process difficult memories with EMDR, integrating mindfulness to build inner calm. My feminist, anti-oppressive approach ensures a truly welcoming space for all, helping you find strength and clarity.

Approach

Parts work, somatic psych and expressive arts shape how we move through memories: each session is paced to your window of tolerance, alternating focused bilateral processing with grounding and creative embodiment so you stay anchored. In my Windsor office or in French or English virtual check-ins, you'll be invited to notice shifts in sensation, voice and boundary between sessions through short, practical practices we tailor together. The work is collaborative and attuned to safety, useful for people seeking steadier presence, clearer relationships and less reactivity.
