Mrs Gina Sim

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

My name is Gina, I offer a warm and open environment in which I treat moderate to severe psychological issues. This includes anxiety, depression, grief, behavioural problems and suicidal thoughts. Taking the step to seek therapy is daunting, therefore i adopt a gentle and nurturing approach to ensure you are at ease.

About Me

Taking the step into therapy can feel daunting. I offer a truly warm and open space, supporting individuals through moderate to severe anxiety, depression, grief, or suicidal thoughts. My gentle, nurturing approach ensures you feel at ease from the very first session. Together, we can explore your concerns, building a safe path for compassionate understanding and progress.

Approach

You’ll find sessions paced gently to match your comfort, starting with simple questions and moving into focused, practical exploration that feels steady rather than rushed. In my Ballito practice and via English-language teletherapy I blend listening with small experiments—emotional reflection, relationship mapping or brief between-session tasks—to help you notice patterns and try different responses. I work collaboratively, checking in about pace and safety as we go. This approach tends to suit adolescents, adults and parents facing anxiety, grief, relationship or behavioural concerns.
