About Me

Dr George Fieldman is an Independent Consultant Chartered Psychologist. He trained in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy at University College London, and is BABCP accredited. He is also a British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist, a registered senior practitioner psychologist specialising in psychotherapy. George is an advocate of Compassion Focussed Therapy, whereby clients should feel no blame for their distress, but instead should be understood, and thereby to become empowered.

Approach

I was raised to believe that a deep understanding of people, and the human condition in general, combined with compassion and authentic care, provide a sound basis for the development of psychological health and resilience.
