I am a psychotherapist and coach working with individuals and couples. I help people clarify how they want to live, relate and show up — and support them in making that real in their everyday lives. My work draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches and philosophies, which you can find out more about here or on my website. Regardless of the format I work in, I offer a space where every part of you is welcome — especially the parts you don’t like — and the opportunity to begin offering that same unconditional acceptance to yourself.

About Me

Working with me tends to feel thoughtful, steady and exploratory. I offer a space where you can slow down and reflect without pressure to perform or “fix” yourself quickly. I’m interested in how your inner world meets the practical realities of your life — whether that’s becoming a parent, navigating partnership, or living between cultures. Our conversations are collaborative: at times open and reflective, at times more focused and practical, especially if clear themes or goals emerge. People often say they appreciate the balance of depth and clarity — feeling both understood and gently challenged in ways that help things move forward.

Approach

My approach draws on several therapeutic models, and I adapt how I work to each person's needs and preferences. I use two main therapeutic approaches — Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My couples work is guided by my training in Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), which is the IFS approach to working with relationships. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) CBT helps you to learn that you are not your thoughts, and brings awareness to how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence each other. It invites us to examine and revise our thoughts and our behaviours, and teaches practical ways to make change. Internal Family Systems (IFS) IFS therapy complements this by assuming we are all made of multiple parts, each trying to serve us in their own way. From an IFS perspective, even our most difficult thoughts or behaviours are parts of us trying, in their own way, to protect us from pain or vulnerability. These protective roles can become rigid and extreme. Together, we would explore these parts of you, understand what they're protecting, and help them find new, less extreme ways to support you. While it can be interesting to learn about the different therapeutic approaches, research consistently shows that what matters most is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. I explain more about my personal approach on my website, and if I sound like someone you think you could work and connect with, I'd love to hear from you.

Basic Information

Services

I specialise in supporting people through periods of transition and identity shift — particularly around parenthood, partnership and life direction. This includes working with new and expectant fathers, couples navigating change, and individuals seeking greater clarity about how they want to live and relate. I have a particular interest in paternity, responsibility, and the psychological impact of becoming a parent. I also work with clients living internationally or between cultures, where questions of belonging and identity can feel heightened. Across all areas, my focus is on helping you develop self-understanding, emotional resilience and a more grounded way of being in your relationships and daily life.
