CORE SERVICES:
I started training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in 2016 and since then I've been using it in my work. My goal as a CBT therapist is to help my clients see the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and challenge the unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving that keep the problem going. I also help my clients become their own therapists throughout this process using evidence-based techniques and I believe this is the most effective way of preventing relapse. I've also trained in Accepting and Commitment Therapy which is considered a third wave CBT therapy. I specialize in generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, specific phobias, health anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anger management.
Some of the training and congresses I have attended:
9th World Congress of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies
5th National Congress of the Turkish Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies
