Ms Gabriela Rios-Martinez

Therapist / Counselor (Qualifying)

In therapy, I work to create a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere in which healing and self-exploration can occur.

About Me

In therapy, I work to create a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere in which healing and self-exploration can occur. I understand that finding a space where you feel truly heard is vital. Together, we can gently explore your thoughts and feelings, making sense of experiences without pressure. My aim is for you to feel comfortable sharing openly, discovering new insights at your own pace. This collaborative approach helps individuals find clarity and a path forward.

Approach

Sessions tend to unfold at a pace you set, with attention to what feels most pressing so the work stays manageable and grounded. I see clients in Gaithersburg and online in English, and I prioritize clear continuity between meetings so insights carry into daily life. In session we use brief experiments, focused reflection, and practical strategies tailored to attention, anxiety, identity, and relationship patterns, with gentle check-ins between sessions when helpful. People navigating transitions, questions about identity, or struggles with focus often find this paced, practical collaboration useful.
