Fiona Sutherland

Psychotherapist

I am an experienced Gestalt therapist providing a safe, reliable therapeutic relationship to individual adults.

About Me

I offer a consistent, confidential space for individual adults to explore their concerns. My aim is to build a reliable relationship where you feel truly heard, understood, and able to be yourself. Here, you can safely navigate complex emotions or life changes at your own pace. This steady, non-judgmental support helps clients make sense of their experiences and find a clear path forward.

Approach

We focus on what happens moment to moment: noticing thoughts, sensations and relational patterns that turn up in the room and online, then gently experimenting with different ways of responding. Sessions are paced to your needs—sometimes reflective and slow, sometimes more active—so we can unpick anxiety, trauma echoes, identity questions or relationship dynamics together. I invite practical, embodied noticing between sessions when helpful, and we track small shifts over time. This approach suits adults seeking steady, exploratory therapy in Edinburgh or remotely.
