Eliza McBride

Licensed Professional Counselor

Trauma-informed, social justice-informed counselor. Serving first and second-generation immigrants of color.

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LMHC) in Hillsboro, Oregon. I provide trauma counseling and individual therapy for anxiety, mood disorders, recovery from abuse, and identity issues.

Approach

My counseling is person-centered and systems-based, i.e. I take someone's different backgrounds into account while also recognizing that each person is unique. I utilize techniques from emotion-focused therapy (EFT) to invite deeper processing and self-reflection in session. I also provide psychoeducation for coping skills based on CBT and DBT.
