Mrs Elise Harrington

Registered Counselor

Elise has a diverse background and is a practicing hypnotist and family mediator with an interest in working with children.

About Me

Elise offers a supportive space for individuals and families facing complex emotions. Drawing on her diverse background, she specialises in helping children and their caregivers find their voice. As a practising hypnotist, Elise can guide you to deeper relaxation and clarity. Her approach combines gentle support with practical tools, helping you navigate challenges and build stronger connections within your family.

Approach

You’ll notice I balance calm pacing with clear structure, moving gently between hypnotic relaxation and focused family mediation to help everyone feel steadier in the room. I work from Moruya and online, in English, so sessions can fit day-to-day life and include children alongside caregivers when helpful. In-session we practise short, accessible techniques, map patterns together and set small, achievable steps to try between meetings; assessments for younger clients are paced to reduce overwhelm. This way of working often suits families facing addiction, trauma or complex transitions.
