Dr Vikrant Sharma

Occupational Therapist

Having around 14 years of experience with kids with Autism spectrum Disorder(ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyper Active Disorder (ADHD).

About Me

As an Occupational Therapist with around 14 years’ experience, I support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). My focus is on helping them build practical skills for daily life. We might explore ways to manage sensory input or enhance attention and focus. I also guide parents, offering practical strategies to support their child's progress at home. This approach helps children feel more confident and capable in their everyday activities.

Approach

My long experience with neurodiverse children shapes how therapy unfolds: sessions move at each child's pace and focus on small, achievable steps. In my Shimla clinic I work in English or Hindi/Urdu, using hands-on activities, sensory strategies and short attention-building tasks so skills transfer into daily routines. I involve parents with clear, practical suggestions to try between visits and adapt plans from ongoing observation and simple assessments. Families who want practical, steady progress in everyday skills usually find this way of working helpful.
