Dr Doris Muchirahondo

Family Therapist

An competent and compassionate Family Therapist working with Adults, Adolescents, Children.

About Me

Families often face unique challenges, and I help adults, adolescents, and children navigate them together. As a Family Therapist with an EdD in Counseling Psychology, I create a calm, collaborative space where every voice is heard. We explore communication patterns and build practical tools, fostering stronger bonds and understanding across generations. This approach is ideal for families seeking to resolve conflict and grow closer.

Approach

To move from understanding to change, I guide sessions with gentle structure—short check-ins, hands-on activities for children, and focused reflection for adults—so ideas become small, practical shifts at home. In my Tustin office and via secure online sessions in English, we pace work to each person’s rhythm, using art, observation, and brief assessment moments to clarify patterns and track progress between meetings. This collaborative, steady rhythm tends to suit families and individuals seeking practical, respectful ways to reconnect.
