Trauma-focused therapist integrating EMDR, Compassionate Inquiry, and Gestalt therapy. I offer a compassionate space to explore your inner world, process unresolved experiences, and cultivate healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

About Me

I’m Deborah, a Gestalt psychotherapist and accredited EMDR practitioner with a trauma-focused approach. I also integrate elements of Compassionate Inquiry in my work. I have long been interested in understanding human development, relational patterns, and the connection between our emotional and bodily experiences. This curiosity continues to guide both my professional work and my personal learning. In our sessions, I aim to offer a compassionate and steady space where you can explore your inner world with openness and care. Together, we can gently make sense of difficult experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself, and support the natural process of healing and growth. My intention is to help you cultivate greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and connection with your own inner resilience and strength.

Approach

My approach is grounded in three core pillars: safety, compassion, and awareness. I aim to create a supportive and respectful space where you can explore your inner world with curiosity, allowing deeper understanding and authentic change to unfold. I draw on Gestalt therapy, EMDR, and Compassionate Inquiry to support clients in gently processing difficult or unresolved experiences. Together, we work to bring awareness to patterns that may have developed in response to past experiences, helping you understand how they continue to shape your emotional life and relationships. Our work moves at a pace that honours your nervous system and your unique process. Over time, this can support greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more compassionate ways of relating to yourself and others
