Cynthia Dolezsar

Psychologist

Do you need relief from anxiety, stress, or depressed mood? I offer a confidential and caring space to discuss. Versed in a variety of treatment modalities, namely Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. I am not an advocate for “coping” with uncomfortable symptoms - these are usually modifiable!

About Me

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or a low mood? I offer a confidential, caring space where we can truly explore these challenges. We won't just 'cope' with uncomfortable symptoms; instead, we'll actively work to understand and modify them. Using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy, I help you find lasting relief. This is for those ready to transform symptoms and build real change.

Approach

When you bring worries, pressure, or low mood to our work, we map how thoughts, habits and relationships feed each other and decide together where to begin. Based in Montreal, I work in English and offer online sessions so we can keep steady momentum between meetings. Sessions are practical and exploratory — we try short experiments, track patterns, and reflect on early life influences to unlock change. This style tends to suit adults ready to move past symptoms toward clearer day-to-day functioning.
