Dr Cristina Bottoni, MD

Psychiatrist

A psychiatrist and psychotherapist with an integrated individual and group Jungian psychodynamic orientation, I treat all types of psychological and psychiatric distress from adolescence to adulthood.

About Me

MD Board Registration No. 50086. Graduated from Sapienza University of Rome. Specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy from University of L'Aquila, with an integrated individual and group psychodynamic Jungian orientation. For over two decades, I have engaged in clinical practice, research, and teaching in the fields of psychiatry and psychotherapy. My approach encompasses a holistic perspective, considering the entirety of the human experience, including the body, mind, emotions, and thoughts, while integrating insights from social and applied neuroscience, with a particular focus on recent advancements in the theory and phenomenology of consciousness.

Approach

Through this, I integrate different facets of their personality and self, addressing both explicit and implicit layers of memory. In my role as the founder of the IRDAP Institute in the early 2000s, dedicated to researching and treating anxiety and panic disorders, I’ve developed a specific intervention model. This model seamlessly integrates psychotherapeutic methods and techniques from various orientations, as well as both conventional and unconventional pharmacological therapies, including the use of nutraceuticals.
