Mrs Courtney Christians

Licensed Clinical Psychologists

My aim and approach to therapy is rooted in building an authentic, trusting and safe therapeutic relationship, while upholding ethical standards for care and treatment. I enjoy working in a holistic and integrative manner by co-creating in the therapeutic space with clients.

About Me

I partner with individuals, focusing on building an authentic, safe, and trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we co-create a space where you can explore life's complexities and unique concerns holistically. We integrate various approaches, ensuring our sessions are truly tailored to your needs and rhythm. This collaborative process helps you gain clarity, discover new perspectives, and foster lasting personal growth.

Approach

Within the collaborative space we've created, I attend to rhythm and detail — gentle pacing, focused reflection and practical steps that help you map emotions, patterns and decisions. Sessions are offered in English and Afrikaans, in Somerset West or online, with scheduling and between-session tasks shaped to fit your life. Assessment informs direction when clarity is needed, and psychotherapy blends problem-solving with compassion to address anxiety, shame, relationship strains, chronic illness impacts and life transitions. This way of working suits those seeking thoughtful partnership and realistic change.
