Psychotherapist

Feeling you needs support outside of your family and friends? If you are looking for growth or a change in your current life or a trauma or event has impacted you then sometimes knowing "why" it has happened isn't enough. Combining Gestalt Psychotherapy with Somatic Experiencing can reduce the impact of triggers.

About Me

When life feels overwhelming or past events leave a lasting mark, understanding 'why' isn't always enough. I offer a space to process these experiences beyond just words. By combining Gestalt Psychotherapy with Somatic Experiencing, I help reduce the impact of triggers. This approach is ideal if you're seeking real change and a deeper sense of calm, moving beyond intellectual understanding to embodied healing.

Approach

When thinking and feeling feel out of sync, I guide attention to bodily signals and present moments so we can work through reactions as they arise. In my Melbourne clinic and via secure online sessions, we alternate gentle somatic experiments with focused Gestalt dialogue at a pace you can manage. For people juggling attention differences, burnout or the residue of difficult events, this often looks like tracking sensations, testing small shifts in posture or breath, and naming patterns so choices shift off the couch. Those wanting practical, body-attuned change tend to find this steady approach helpful.
