Mrs Christelle Duckitt

Educational Psychologist

An experienced Educational Psychologist with a special interest in supporting children, adolescents, families, parents and children with special needs.

About Me

I guide children, adolescents, and their families through unique learning and developmental challenges. My special interest is supporting parents and children with special needs. We can explore individual strengths together, developing tailored strategies to build confidence. I aim to create a collaborative space where every voice is heard. This helps clients navigate emotional landscapes and thrive at home and school.

Approach

Helping families navigate school and home hurdles, I focus on clear, practical steps that ease everyday life. In Wellington or online, in English or Afrikaans, sessions are paced to a child’s rhythm and shaped by observation, brief assessment and playful tasks that reveal strengths. Between appointments I suggest small, manageable activities and clear feedback for parents so strategies land at home and school. Families wanting calm, practical support that builds confidence and routine often find this way of working helpful.
