About Me
I have a PhD in Linguistics and specialize in Psychoanalysis. I've been working as a university professor and my profile photo comes from a graduation ceremony with a group of people that live in my heart. I have a partner and we've been choosing each other daily for nine years now. I travel mostly within Brazil, but also in America and Europe whenever I have the chance. Writing is one of my passions and I do some oil painting for pleasure but also to manage stress.
Approach
The starting point is Freud, but I find it helpful to use mainstream media (music, film, etc) as well as classics (literature, drama, philosophy) to offer insights into the issues that arise in a session. I believe people make better choices when they understand themselves more fully and that's what Psychoanalysis is ultimately about.
